Camping at Camp Somerset

At Camp Somerset we offer a range of camping options.

Boasting three kilometers of waterfront onto Somerset Dam, Our access to the dam and Barefoot Alley for our Campers is second to none. Each Waterfront camping location has Environmentally Friendly composting toilets and access to showers inside the main property of Camp Somerset.

There is no power available at our campsites, this allows you and the kids to unplug, unwind, get back to nature and enjoy what our beautiful part of the country has to offer. Firewood is available from time to time by request, and a boat ramp for the exclusive dam access for our Waterfront Camping Guests is located at Koala Grove.

National Park Rules apply (No Pets) - Camp Somerset is a Family Friendly, Alcohol and Drug Free Facility.
Bookings are essential and close each Friday at 12 noon for the week-end coming. We open the waterfront for Camping on week-ends and School Holidays. Week-day bookings are difficult during school term and so for these we take bookings no later then 1 month in advance.
**In December 2019, Camp Somerset will be moving to a 2 Year in Advance Booking Model, where bookings for Easter and Christmas can be made for two years ahead on the first business day following the 1st of April/December. Easter bookings open 8am, for fairness to others, any messages left prior to 8am will be held in reserve should availability occur.
